Hot off the press…

Q. What happens when the Paso Robles One Block Challenge™ participants join forces to order their cover crop seeds?

A. Over 30 tonnes of cover crop seeds trucked to a central vineyard, sorted by pallets for each vineyard, to be collected by all the vineyard managers. The first truck arrived yesterday, seeds being collected today.

It’s just so inspiring to see pioneering growers (yes, that’s you Jordi Lonborg) giving their neighbours the confidence to choose their seed mixes and know how to sow and manage them.

Even better, they’re not just limiting the seeding to the 1BC blocks, they’re overseeding much larger areas of their vineyards.

We are cock-a-hoop (apologies to use such an old fashioned English word but nothing else quite fitted).
