Stephen Cronk
Stephen is Co-Founder of Maison Mirabeau, a globally recognised rosé brand in Provence. After acquiring a degraded 20-hectare estate, he and his wife Jeany committed to restoring it through regenerative viticulture. Guided by leading experts, their work is focused on measurable impact and biodiversity. As Chair, Stephen brings entrepreneurial insight and hands-on experience to the Foundation.

Jancis Robinson, OBE MW
Jancis is a globally respected wine writer who has spent over 50 years informing and influencing the world of wine. Known for her deep expertise and independence, she has long used her platform to advocate for sustainability, from farming systems and recycling to climate action. Her vision for wine to move beyond sustainability and embrace regeneration closely aligns with the Foundation’s mission. As Patron, Jancis helps amplify this message, inspiring growers, producers, and consumers to support a more resilient and biodiverse future for wine.

Martin Gamman MW
Martin is a Master of Wine with a long career in sales, retail, and education. He currently leads the UK office of Champagne Joseph Perrier. Outside of wine, he manages 10 hectares of woodland and pasture in Gloucestershire using regenerative methods, offering him a dual lens on commerce and conservation.

Justin Howard-Sneyd MW
Justin is a Master of Wine, educator, and founder of Domaine of the Bee in France. After a successful career as a wine buyer, he became an independent consultant and advocate for regenerative practices. Justin teaches at West Dean College and brings strategic expertise and a passion for systems thinking.

Rachael Hughes
Rachael is a global entrepreneur and advisor focused on innovation and sustainability. In 2021, she established a small farm on long-abandoned land in Southern France, where she applies regenerative agriculture principles. Rachael blends business insight with a growing commitment to soil health and restorative farming practices.

Dr. Alistair Nesbitt
Dr. Alistair Nesbitt is a viticulture climatologist and CEO of Vinescapes Ltd. With a PhD and over 20 years of global experience, he advises vineyards, governments, and wine businesses on climate-smart practices and long-term sustainability. Alistair is a leading voice on the evolving relationship between viticulture and climate change.

Jesper Saxgren
Jesper is an ecologist with 35+ years of experience in agroecology, permaculture, and watershed management across Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. He is Vice-Chair of Organic Denmark’s Global Committee and an ambassador for EARTH University in Costa Rica. Jesper brings a global systems-thinking perspective to sustainable land use and community-led farming.

Caine Thompson
Caine is VP of Winegrowing at O’Neill Vintners & Distillers, where he oversees sustainability programmes across 15,000 acres. With experience in both New Zealand and California, he’s led major conversions to regenerative and organic practices. Caine serves on multiple industry boards and was named a Wine Enthusiast Future 40 Tastemaker.

Becky Sykes
Becky oversees research, education, and engagement for the Foundation, building the resources and networks that support producers on their regenerative journey. With a background in Public Affairs and an MSc in Viticulture & Oenology, she combines strategic insight with on-the-ground understanding. Becky also holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering, a reminder that all paths can lead to wine.

Anne Jones
Anne brings strategic direction to the Foundation’s programmes and partnerships, driving change across the industry. With two decades at Waitrose and a deep background in wine buying, sustainability, and certification, she bridges the gap between practical viticulture and corporate strategy. Anne is also a consultant through Limestone & Jones and has helped shape initiatives like WineGB’s certification and the Sustainable Wine Roundtable.

Barbara Goldsmith
Barbara brings long-standing enthusiasm for wine, having attended master classes and vineyard tours over many years and earning her WSET Level 3 with Distinction. Inspired by the Foundation’s mission and team after attending its launch, she now supports RVF’s administration. Her once-dormant shorthand skills have found new life, helping to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Nick Gill
Nick is the Foundation’s Technical Advisor for Aotearoa New Zealand and a leading voice in regenerative viticulture. Formerly the viticulturist at Greystone Wines in North Canterbury, he brings deep hands-on experience in applying regenerative practices in the vineyard. Nick also coordinates the One Block Challenge™ in New Zealand, supporting growers to explore and adopt regenerative approaches.

Richard Leask
Richard is the Foundation’s Technical Advisor for Australia and a leading consultant in regenerative viticulture. He runs his own vineyard, Hither & Yon, in McLaren Vale and was awarded a Nuffield Scholarship to explore regenerative agriculture globally. Richard brings practical expertise and a global perspective to his work supporting growers across the region.

Andy Beanland
Andy is the founder of Resilience Soil Lab, a certified Soil Food Web lab that supports growers in improving soil health through microbiology. He brings global experience in sustainability from his time as a Director at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Andy also runs a small permaculture farm in the Pyrenees, where he is restoring soil and building a diverse food forest.

Jennifer Becker
Jennifer serves as the Foundation’s Communications Advisor in the United States and leads the Global One Block ChallengeTM. She brings extensive experience in direct-to-consumer marketing and brand strategy, having worked with major brands around the world. Jennifer is also the founder of Ensemble Marketing Group, which supports wine businesses in building strong consumer relationships.

Courtney Carroll
Courtney supports the Foundation’s communications across Europe, helping to raise awareness of regenerative viticulture and grow the RVF community. She brings experience in content development, storytelling, and engagement strategy, with a focus on building meaningful connections between producers, partners, and the wider public.
